Upon looking back at the past few months since we lost my husband’s father, and the subsequent clearing of his unit, I can only marvel at the smooth process of ‘moving on’! We came into contact with Lisa Oshlack at a time of great emotional stress and upheaval. The task of clearing my husband’s parent’s unit seemed absolutely overpowering and daunting, as we surveyed what had to be done. This is where Moving On stepped in. They took over the task of clearing the unit in conjunction with continuous consultation with both of us, and proceeded to ‘lift the task off our shoulders’, so to speak. Lisa was, and is, a most wonderfully empathetic, sensitive and ‘feeling’ young lady, who was instinctively and immediately aware of the emotional frame of mind that we possessed at this time. She is a most efficient and well organised who moved everything along on smoothly oiled wheels. From the donating of various goods to charities, to the elimination of what was not wanted, to organising the unit for leasing… and the list goes on. The unit now presents as a sparkling new abode, with everything having been cleaned thoroughly, walls painted, carpets steam cleaned, curtains cleaned, new linoleum on the kitchen floor, and yes…this was all organised by Lisa who is a veritable little dynamo! “We would not hesitate to recommend Moving On’s services to anyone who is in the situation of having to ‘move on’.
